overlooks Pomeroy Gardens, a public space where there is often a lot of very
private play! The Stable Yard to the rear is full of opportunities for a roll in
the hay. There you will also find a gorgeous Rolls Royce limousine complete with
an equally delicious Chauffeur/euse.
This Edwardian, between the Wars setting, is where many personalities come together in all sorts of naughty ways. Look in on the buttoned up and booted women, simmering with unspoken lust and the laid back rakes with nothing better to do than chase the servant girls and boys. Gossip, secrets, deceit and plenty
of sex fill the days and nights in the genteel Edwardian world that is Pomeroy
Place.
All sub-genres welcome, but we are looking for a balanced mix. We expect imaginative pairings, locations and set-ups, keeping true to the spirit of the period as
well as strong character development. All heat levels welcome, but we like it
hot! All characters must be over 18; no incest, scat or bestiality.
Stories should be between 2,000 and 5,000 words in
length, double spaced Times or Times New Roman, 12 point, black font Word
document with pages numbered. As these stories will be recorded for an audio
anthology, nothing over 5,000 words will be accepted. (We
are allowing longer word counts for this anthology to encourage full use of the
period and scene.)
Send your story as an MS Word document (.doc) or .rtf. Do not send a .docx.
Please include your legal name, mailing address and pseudonym, (if applicable)
and bio of 50 words, or less to Pomeroyplace@gmail.com with SUBMISSION: TITLE as the
subject.You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 3 days and notification of
acceptance/rejection by August 30th 2012
Rights: First world-wide exclusive e-Book (and Audio) Anthology rights to Alternatepress Limited (eSensual Books) for five years from first publication.
*Payment:$25, as an advance against pro rata royalties, paid on publication:
a.
For e-Book and Audio book editions sold via Internet retail outlets, the royalty
is 40% of the net retail sales income
b.
Said royalties shall be paid fifty percent (50%) to the editor and fifty percent
(50%) to the contributors to be distributed on a pro rata basis.
c.
All monies paid to contributors on publication shall be accounted as an advance.
Once the advance is earned out, royalties shall be paid to the editor who will
disburse them to contributors.
